Dr. Paul B. Cesanek, MD

This doctor was on time and gave us all the time that we needed to answer questions. He did not rush us, didn't appear to be rushed, and took all of our thoughts and concerns seriously. He has a way of explaining things that are very easy to understand. He also shows humility comma willing to say I don't know when he doesn't know. I find that incredibly refreshing, and a reason to trust someone. Their staff was also very professional and kind. The experience at the surgi-center was also very positive. It was easy to access parking was plentiful there was access to a little cafeteria and they were on time as scheduled. We stayed at a hotel down the road and they had a program where we were given a $10 discount for being a patient at the Lehigh Valley Hospital. A nice bonus!

my overall experience was exceptional. Dr Cesanek saw me promptly, scheduled my surgery at my convienence and got me out the the door quickly, so I could continue my further treatments without delay. I would highly recommend this doctor for anyone considering any general surgery.

Dr. Cesanek was excellent at explaining my condition and what was going to happen before and after my surgery in terms that I could understand. He was very caring and had a great bedside manner. He provided excellent follow-up care after surgery. If I ever need another surgery, I will definately want him to do it. I highly recommend this him, he is excellent.

I highly recommend Dr. Cesanek. Before ordering tests, he thoroughly explained what the test for for, how the test would be done, and I couldn't have asked for better explanations in layman's terms about the results. When surgery was needed, he provided details about the surgery itself and what to expect afterward. He was very helpful to my family on the day of the surgery, alleviating any fears they had had. He treated me with upmost professionalism, courtesy, and respect while not being afraid to show his human side. He models what a good doctor should be.

Dr. Cesanek had terrible bed side manner and was more interested in getting on to the next patient, after filling out the proper billing of course! He answered questions poorly and made me feel stupid for asking questions. I thought I was supposed to go to a doctor for answers, well I will find another doctor or look up information online. Dr. Cesanek, you have much to learn. I would definitely not recommend this doctor.

Dr. Cesanek was the surgeon on call when my 80 year-old mother was admitted with colon cancer. The professionalism, caring, and empathy he extended to my mother and our family was exceptional and I believe, beyond his years of experience. He is a model of what a surgeon/doctor should be. I will never be able to fully express my gratitude to him for the work he did. I salute him!
