Dr. Paul Dean Chambliss, MD

I don’t know who is worst, the actual doctor or the staff that work in the office. He continuously sent my prescription to the wrong pharmacy. He also sent the wrong directions for my insulin. Instead of him putting that I take one unit of insulin for every 15 carbs, he put that I only take 5 units of insulin a day. This resulted in me running out of insulin and not being able to get it filled at the pharmacy and having it covered under my insurance. After calling numerous times to get him to change the directions of the insulin, I never got an answer and I ended up paying out of pocket for my insulin.

Waiting time was more than one hour. The lady at the front desk spent 15 minutes on a personal phone call (no wonder why it's almost impossible to get thru when you try calling his office). When I finally got into triage I stepped 2 minutes to the restrooms and when I came back there was another patient in my seat!Finally I got to see Dr. Chambliss and eventough I appreciate some sense of style a Doctor should dress like a Doctor, the burberry pattern and the loud flowers might be appropriate for the weekend, not to see your patients. My appointment with Dr. Chambliss lasted 7 minutes. After 1 1/2 wait I didn't even wait for the nurse to get a blood sample. I left without any notice.What a nightmare.
