Dr. Paul Chang, DO

If you have progressing symptoms and Dr. Chang doesn't believe you, he will not treat you like you are in a position where you need help.

Had MRI DR. Chang read my MRI and showed me my nirve looked like it was hitting my nerve. I was laying down in the MRI machine with pillows under my knee! What is it doing when I try to walk? I had so much pain I couldn't walk some days! I have lots of questions. But the BIG thing is I was told by another medical professional that DR. Chang thinks I am milking the system! I very much resent that.I have been lifting at this job for well over 20 years and I take pride in my job and still work there. I am 64years old, why would I do that with a job I love? I am getting this info from medical personnel and I am very mad about it. I don't know if it's true that DR Chang thinks this. But his aditude is very different from the first time I saw him. My brother got diagnosed by dr. Chang with stage bone cancer! :( he never called to ask how he is! I don't think it is write to guess what Peale are doing. But I love my job and would never do that! That is a horrible thing to think about me or… anyone for that matter! I would never use the system in bad context. I'm not sure if you really think that, and I am going by a person who works in some of his programs. (How could you think this of me if it's true, let's talk!)

I’am a 53 year old construction worker with no health issues until I started to feel pain in my knee due to wear & tear over the years of a physically demanding job . I was directed to Dr Chang by a dear friend whose son’s hand had been surgically repaired by Dr Chang years earlier . I found Dr Chang to be a straight shooter , who cared about my condition and ultimately in his brilliance was able to repair my knee and turn around the years of physical abuse . I can’t thank him enough !

My wife broke two bones in her wrist. The radial bone and her ulna bone. Dr Chang reset and reconstructed Her wrist and miraculously after 4 months of rehab she is able to do all the things she loves including golf, gardening weightlifting and Yoga. Excellent surgeon. Dr Chang is also a Military Veteran.

I like Dr Chang, overall, but something bothers me pretty badly. He seems to be moody, has no restraint in showing annoyance or impatience with me. Mostly, he tends to be more the authoritarian type of physician... you do as I say and don't expect me to explain things detached, cool, distant. He'll be nice when he first walks through the door, polite, shakes your hand, but it all falls apart as the appointment wears on. I've seen him three times. This last time has got me feeling like I want to find another Ortho doc for my particular problem. I did not walk away feeling satisfied with the care I received.

He was very rude and unkind and we could tell he was hurrying along when my husband needed to have surgery. Was not please at all with our experience with this doctor.
