Let's be honest--no one wants to have a colonoscopy! But if you must do it, then Dr. Chard and the East Bay Endosurgery Center is the place to go. The entire process--from making the appointment, to prep, to finishing the procedure--was easy and completely painless. The entire staff is friendly, caring and very professional. I would recommend EBEC without hesitation.

Dr Chard has been very good at listening and explaining. The staff was wonderful. Very patient while being very efficient and always very pleasant.

I cannot express my gratitude to Dr. Chard and his team. I have had gastrointestinal issues since I was a kid and it has always been embarrassing and hard to face...and hard to want to get treatment or talk about to anyone. Dr. Chard is so kind and helpful and easy to talk to...you don't feel embarrassed and it is such a relief. Also, he has an absolute top notch team and you instantly feel like you are in good hands (no doubt Dr. Chard is a great doctor to work for as they all seem so happy to be there). What could be a totally depressing and terrifying experience feels safe and comforting. Thank you Dr. Chard and team!

I was very nervous about the procedure, but Dr. Chard was very friendly, matter-of-fact, knowledgeable, and talked me through it, explaining everything I was seeing on the monitor and what I would be feeling/experiencing as t he moved the scope around. Whereas I dreaded the procedure long before my appointment, Dr. Chard made the experience a positive one. Now that I see and understand more fully what is happening in my colon, I'm much less fearful and find I have more confidence in my body.
