Dr. Paul Niesen Chervin, MD

If you are a woman, do NOT see this person. He harasses women and will make you feel uncomfortable. Specially if you are a young woman. This person shouldn’t have the “doctor” title. He is very unprofessional, lacks of knowledge and empathy. He thinks he knows it all but he doesn’t, he needs to go back to medical school. He will try to say that every diagnosis is PSYCHOLOGICAL to get it out of the way and to not find the root of the disease of the patients.

Avoid at all costs!

He should be a Doctor or have anything to with people very RUDE time for him to stay home

I was looking for help, answers, anything, ... with a professional. What I received was a useless, rude, ignorant and disrespectful man, a husk, who less than half way into my first ever visit with him, left me high and dry with no explanation after receiving a phone call. He just walked away and left me waiting, wondering, until I got up and left some 15 minutes later. Very insulting! To make matters worse, I was billed for a full visit. The good news? I never set foot into his office again, and found a Doctor who listened, and stayed the full duration of time for my appointment. Shame on you for how you treated me! But thank you, for showing me your true colors. Doctors, Attorneys, mechanics... there are many to choose from. Just choose someone else, anyone else than this man.

This is the worst doctor I have ever seen in my life. Tried me on several medications that he knew I couldn't take and had severe reactions to. Wouldn't listen to any of my concerns and had me on insanely high doses. He goes on pointless rants. Told me no meds would work yet insisted I keep trying them. I stopped seeing him due to his lack of care for my health and safety and then sadly a family member got referred to him and he put them on such high doses of medications they ended up fainting on several occasions and refused to change meds. Horrible. Save your sanity and wait for a better neurologist. I can not say enough awful things about him.

This doctor makes up his mind from a handful (not complete) list of medical records before meeting the patient. He barely lets the patient or family speak, stating he already knows and understands. This typically results in dangerously incorrect outcomes which could ultimately lead to death, by missing tumors, etc.. He also discriminates and is judgemental. He may have been good in his younger days, but he is now too arrogant and pompous to correctly diagnose or treat.

I had excruciating and constant pain after a dental procedure, I went to the endodontist for a root canal as they thought that would relieve the Pain, It did not. Numerous Dentists, endodontists and oral surgeons were stumped. They sent me to A neurologist (Chervin) as they believed it could be a neurological. During the appointment I provided him all the reports/ cone scan X-rays etc, He was confused about the information he said it "didn't add up" he then checked me out for an entire 30 seconds and tells me I have Trigeminal Neuralgia, a major nerve of the face perscribes a medication, When I asked about the side effects of the med he said I have no more time for you I have other patients and brushed me off. Uncomfortable with his lack of compassion as well as his quick anises I researched and for an oral surgeon/ facial pain specialist. He reviewed the Documents checked me out for over an hour. informed me I didn't have damage to the trigeminal nerve, but myofacial pain disorder/… referred pain coming from my jaw. He gave me a muscle relaxant and another pill. sent me to a physical therapist that specializes in disorders and pressure point manipulation and within a month I had my life back.he was not only correct but compassionate the exact opposite of Dr chevron stay away from this neurologist...

I read the review by the person who feels that Dr. Chervin "gets" it when a person is feeling panicked by their medical condition. My experience with D. Chervin was the complete opposite. I am not a young person. I have seen many doctors over the years, and I have never had such an "encounter." I am not questioning his competency as a doctor, but if you're looking for a physician with some semblance of a "bedside manner," Dr. Chervin is not for you. My experience with him was a NIGHTMARE, and quite frankly, I found him to be brutally cruel and condescending. Find another neurologist!

I have had a wonderful experience with Dr. Chervin. He's extremely intelligent, thorough, and caring. I would seriously recommend him to everyone looking for a doctor who truly "gets" panicked patients looking for answers.
