Dr. Paul Michael Colopy, MD

One of the worst excuses for a doctor that I have had the misfortune to meet. His condescending attitude coupled with his ignorance is atrocious.

First of after two minutes looking at my MRI he said no tumor what else you need to know what about my migraine I never had them before he said it's to complicated he recommended a book he said he didn't have time to explain it to me six months later my migraines came back and I tried to reschedule appointment and they said that he had retired then they said that there was no doctor in the office how is this possible has anyone else had this happen to them at this office

I see him 4 seizes, in 7 yrs havent had one because of him. Dr. Colony’s close attn to a hurt shoulder Ended up with him saying “ It’s not your shoulder it’s your lung” I went to the hospital and had a scan and I have a nodule in my upper left lung. Dr. Colpy gave a # specialist to go see that would fit me in right away. He is one of those Mighty Great Ships that fight to help people and then there comes the time they must dock. I hope God, Family and his Retirement give to him as much as gave to his patients. Reta Lyn McAlister. And yes he does remember things,

Lets start off with if I could give a lower rating I would. I have never had a Dr treat me the way this so called Dr did. He is the most unprofessional Dr I have ever dealt with. He acts as if asking any questions at all, is an imposition to him. He is extremely abrasive and condescending, he didn't even remember what medicine he had prescribed me 2 weeks before( which he spent less that 5 minutes with me). And when I told him about it he got very snotty.He kept telling me that he was retiring( which he shouldn't be practicing anyway) and that know one there was gonna help me. IF HE WAS YOUR DR GET A SECOND OPINION FAST. On a better note, the staff there are very nice

If I hadn't have "googled Dr. Colopy" before my appointment, I would have never known it was him. He NEVER introduced himself! I have a pinched nerve that is over the chart. He did one test, got up said you need "Pain Management" and the Receptionist gave me a Name with a FAX number to the office, ON AN ORANGE STICKY NOTE. No Company name, no Office telephone number!!!!! He told me, my Primary Dr. had to do the referral. I didn't spend 5 minutes with this man. He acted like "HE DIDN'T WANT TO BE BOTHERED" AND HIS TEST CAME BACK "NORMAL" ALTHOUGH THE MRI SHOWED AND I HAD BEEN TOLD BY 2 OTHER DR.S I DID HAVE A PINCED NERVE. HIS "FEE" WAS MORE THAN THE NEUROSURGEON'S. TERRIBLE DOCTOR!!!!!!!

I have found Dr. Colopy to be very caring, thoughtful and proactive. He is a good listener and and also reviewed my patient records carefully. Based on these records and my input, he made good recommendations as to how I should deal with my health issues. I like the fact that he saw me not only as a patient but also as a person.

I saw Dr. colopy back in 2012 and on 12/28/2017. I arrived 30 min before my appt. He spent a total of 5 min with me. First he stuck his head in the door to hand me my chart to read notes from my last appt in 2013. Ten min later he came in and I told him my severity of numbness..then he offered a pain med....I wanted testing on how my condition had worstened, not meds for a temp fix. He then gave me another doc's name to go see. He was rude, direct, and uncaring. I do not recommend him, unless you want a neurologist that doesn't care. He needs to retire.

Dr. Colopy after just one visit was able to fix years of nerve pain that other doctors hadn't been able to correctly control by putting me on the correct medication. He spent a great amount of time and I didn't feel rushed.

Dr. Colopy clearly explained my condition in terms my wife and I understood. His examination was very thorough and he took more time than expected examining me and answering our questions. He made no promises but explained my treatment. He was professional, thorough and friendly. Staff was very professional and friendly.

Very short with my father, the most unprofessional doctor I've been to EVER... He told my father that he'd just have to "be like that for the rest of your life" which out of the 30 different doctor appointments my father has been to he has never been told that. Awful!!!
