Dr. Paul Christopher Conrad

I took my neighbor to the emergency room because she could not breathe and her legs were numb. She is 90 years old with many comorbidities. This so-called “Dr.” Conrad was extremely rude and belittled her continuously for coming in to seek treatment. This man should be banned from the practice of medicine. He is incompetent, rude, and it is hard for me to imagine that he was ever actually capable of obtaining a medical degree. My neighbor ended up being admitted for severe pneumonia and thankfully a better doctor came on duty after Conrad. Chatuge Regional Hospital should take the negative reviews seriously. Everyone who is in this man’s ‘care’ is at risk of serious negative health outcomes as a result of incompetence.

A horrible piece of sh*t. The worst bedside manner. He doesn’t care about you. He does not need to be a Doctor anymore. Sh*t, I wouldn’t even call him a Dr.

If I could give less than 1 star I most certainly would... I have a history of cancer, 18 years of it and repeat occurrences of various types... He asked me what I wanted him to do and I told him his due diligence, to treat me with respect, I know my history and I know when I need to seen which I put off only to end up with him as an alleged doctor... He's a joke and doesn't need to be practicing medicine!!! I know more than he does and that's a fact!!!

Went in with my 16 year old daughter who was having trouble breathing. He said, what are you doing here we don’t treat Covid? Was rude and disrespectful bad bed star manners. We left and will never return if he works there.

My son went to see him for a severe sinus infection caused by something stuck in his throat he had for the past several weeks. He called first and was told to come to Chatuge Hospital in Hiawassee. Dr Conrad totally humiliated him due to the fact that he was a volunteer in the Peace Corp and posed a risk to his staff because of the Coronavirus. He had no symptoms and had been home from his duties for 12 days. Just wanted an X-ray and some antibiotics. This guy is an idiot with zero bedside manner. He also is the one in charge of patients in the nursing home.

I've been diagnosed with colitis and also have a few other medical illnesses have been treated for after working a 12-hour shift I check myself into chatuge Regional Hospital and the first doctor I seen was a doctor Moore who treated me with respect and was trying to help me with the pain that I was having from my colitis in the blood that I had in my stool during my stay there was a shift change in dr. Conrad come on duty I laid in my room for 3 hours before I ever seen a nurse or doctor Conrad after the shift change and when I did see him it was for him to tell me that even though I had blood in my stool in the other doctor was trying to help me and my creatinine for my kidneys was one point away from being critical he told me that all I wanted was narcotics which I never asked for or said anything about he's extremely rude and just made me feel like a piece of garbage this man does not deserve to be taking care of patients especially in their time of need and then before I told him… to give me my discharge papers so that I can leave because I felt humiliated and was still in pain he told me that he was not accusing me of wanting drugs but he just had told me to my face not five minutes before that I was displaying drug-seeking Tendencies so not only is he just really rude incompetent and lazy but he is also a liar I have never felt so belittled in my life and have never been accused of anything like this I will never go back to this hospital and I will never refer anyone to it

This man doesn't need to be a doctor. He sucks! And has terrible bed side manners

Dr Conrad is very mean. This Dr demeaned me and spent 98% of my visit berated me about the cost of the treatment I needed. My physician and my employer said to come after being exposed to a deadly virus. He spent the entire visit so consumed about the price of the treatment and even accused my employer that once he recieved the bill then he would not want to pay for my treatment. This was after being bit by a rabid cat. I only had one option treatment or die from a fatal case of Rabies. I walked out. After crying for 2 hours my family talked me into seeking treatment at another hospital where ai was treated immediately and with respect and kindness and never once brought up the price. This Dr. Conrad broke my trust and I did not want to risk him giving me a shot of a placebo because he was so angry. He is an uncaring and harmful to anybody being sent to the ER for treatment of Post Rabies expod6
