The support staff is very pleasant. I recommend Dr. Dammers.

Dr. Dammers is a highly qualified professional who also possesses a character of compassion and understanding. I have numerous physical problems that has led to a multitude of mental challenges. I worked as an RN for years and have dealt with many doctors. I prize Dr. Dammers for his professionalism, authenticity & a spirit of true patient centered care.

I don't know why the negative comments are on here. Dr. Dammers is an awesome Dr. He saved my marriage over 10 yrs ago and has been treating me for bi-polar depression. He does not over-medicate and is a good listener. Yes, he types while listening to me, but that is the way of the medical world any more. I recommend him 100%. It's hard to get an appt, so I schedule with him every 3 mos for a yr in advance.

These other reviews are absurd. I’ve been seeing Dr. Dammers for five years and he’s met me every step of the way with compassion and knowledgeable guidance. I’ve been treated for ADHD and anxiety.

Diagnosed my husband with dementia. Husband refused to believe it as he is ill. Made appt. to return and husband refused to go. I tried to seek help from the doctor as to how to deal with this and he refused to see me, then dropped my husband as a patient. When you diagnose a problem, don’t refuse treatment!

I missed one appointment. This man "Dismissed" me. I then learned from Administration when I tried to see another PHD in their Department, that when Mr. Dammers dismissed me, I could no longer see any of their Team Members. How could he have a Patients Well being as a Priority by taking such an action. And more importantly, how can the Neuromedical Center place so much Authority in one Medical Professional without first taking the Patients Well Being as its first Priority and allowing the patient to see another team member!

He’s only good to write a prescription. If you want Dr Phil type of counseling DONT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING TO HIM. If you need serious mental health counseling again...DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!! He talks very little, listens and just types. I think he hates he job because he has no passion or drive.

I had high hopes that this doctor would be able to help me. After a battery of 5-hour unnecessary tests for a condition that I did not have, and another hour spilling my guts, this man put me on the worst medication. Once a confident, successful professional, I became a withdrawn, angry person with no motivation to do anything. His nurse, Mandy, was rude and unsympathetic to my calls when I tried to get in to see him about this. I was asked to wait two months to get in to see him about this medication. Seeing this doctor almost ruined my life. Don’t go to him. He has a Ph.D and is not an M.D. and has no business prescribing medications to a vulnerable population.

If I knew then what I know know about this physician I NEVER would have waisted MY time!
