Summary
Since a young age, I have had a passion for assisting others in overcoming challenges or situations of misfortune. After combining this with my interests in science and medicine, I found that a career as a physician assistant would allow me to pursue my goals towards bettering the health and well-being of my community. I have always been very involved in athletics through high school sports and college wrestling. Outside of athletics, I enjoy projects that require dexterity to build and fix things with my hands. When deciding which direction to pursue my career as a physician assistant, I found orthopedics to be a perfect fit for my lifestyle and personality. I find that investing time listening to my patients leads to optimal patient-centered care and ultimately a more efficient route towards choosing the correct treatment options. I strive to get patients back to doing what they enjoy to allow for a better quality of life, whether it is athletics or just every day living. I center …my practice around exhausting conservative management prior to discussing surgical intervention when appropriate. Aside from work, I spend a majority of my time hunting, fishing, and adventuring in the outdoors with family and friends.
