Dr. Paul Ngoc Minh Duong, MD

Finally a doctor that knows his stuff. He saved my mom's life with 2 decisions he made concerning medications that were prescribed when she was in the hospital. I do not trust many doctors anymore, but this one has my respect.

Dr. Duong probably saved my life. I was a stranger in a strange land when i flew into phoenix last week, acquainted with only two people in the entire city. Matters worsened for me when an Angina attack hit me in my hotel room and 911 was called. Within a few hours, a heart attack was diagnosed and treated in the cath lab with stents. Dr. Duong very smoothly cleaned old occlusions and added new stents, which completely relieved my pain. This procedure was the third time i have undergone angioplasty and was far easier than the previous experiences, which were some years ago. At no time did i experience any discomfort or pain and i cannot help but believe that the polish and accuracy of that cardiac dept is a result of many years of experience. I am amazed at how quickly my condition began to improve.

Drs Duong & Nguyen are among the top cardiologists my husband & I ever had the good fortune to be patients of. Altho my husband has passed away, they kept him alive much longer than I thought possible. Dr Nguyen brought him back from a massive MI by working on him for 3 hours in the e.r. at Lincoln Deer Valley. I am a patient as well as my mother in law. You can't go wrong having these doctor's as your doctors.

Dr. Duong explained his diagnosis to me and had a great bedside manner.

Dr Duong has helped me learn "not to worry" about my heart since my open-heart surgery in 2010. I am doing great now and I think he is a wonderful doctor.

Best heart doctor I ever had and would never think of leaving him. So glad I found him after moving from Virginia.

Dr. Duong is a great doctor ... !!!! Sometimes you have to wait to get in, but I usually try to schedule my appointments so that I'm first in the morning or afternoon or at the Anthem office. He is well-worth the wait ...

My experience with Dr. Duong was a first rate disaster. The wait was over 2 hours, racist people out in reception, not to mention the front desk lady was very unprofessional and proceeded to backtalk about me behind my back. I waited almost two hours just to get in and the doctor ignored all my concerns and questions. Said I was making a fuss over nothing when clearly there were troubling issues. Never addressed anything and was overall RUDE. NEVER EVER COME HERE!!!! I FELT LIKE I WAS GOING TO DIE STAY WITH THIS FACILITY!

I have never been so disgusted by an office visit in my whole life. I always confirm my father's appointment a day before and make sure we are 20+ minutes early. After an hour of waiting they told my father his appointment was at a different time. I honestly question that. We patiently waited and their reason was the Dr. Duong was extremely behind. After a two hour wait I asked the nurse if they were busy and she explain " not really ". Before the doctor enter the room to check up on my father and I overheard the nurse telling the doctor exaggerated concerns I had. I did not yell nor scream at the staff or faculty. I kindly asked each time about why my father was waiting for so long. The professionalism is far below any 2 star doctor's offices. The nurse was extremely out of line and if she wanted to talk about us, please do so in the back of the office where I can not hear you. I was already upset by my wait at the office and being called " a zoo animal" by a patient due to my… race. The nurse's action was the final straw. The doctor seem a bit distant, and as for a caring doctor I would rate him 3/5. His staff on the other hand 0/5.
