Summary
Dr. Durand obtained all his plastic surgery training at the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic, consistently ranked amongst the top two hospitals in the nation by U.S. News and World Report. After graduating from Indiana University School of Medicine, Dr. Durand was selected for one of the two highly-selective Integrated Plastic Surgery residency positions at Cleveland Clinic. On his final year of training, he served as chief resident.
During his residency training, Dr. Durand was exposed to a wide variety of cosmetic and reconstructive cases. He actively participated in two face transplants as part of the team that performed the first of these in the United States. In addition to reconstruction, Dr. Durand was able to tailor a great part of his training to aesthetic surgery of the face and body, as well as non-invasive procedures such as injectables and lasers.
Dr. Durand enjoys working closely with patients to help them achieve their aesthetic and reconstructive goals.
Originally from …Peru, Dr. Durand has a passion for international mission work particularly within South America, completing his 7th mission trip this year. In addition to English, Dr. Durand is fully fluent in Spanish.
