Took me in back quickly, had to wait a lengthy time, but I understand that. I’m an RN, and I know how to do a clean catch, but it’s not so easy when you r in pain, it’s never going to be perfect, so, I would rather get cath’d than to have to tell Dr Harabaugh exactly how I did it. The cysto went ok, painful, and he was very kind. Explained getting a biopsy next, then said something like, “you were a smoker”, which threw me off because I have never ever smoked, but my dad did, when a great deal of the population did. However, he quit cold Turkey when evidence was coming out about dangers of tobacco, and he would never had put his kids in danger if he knew early on how bad it was! He died when I was 19 of a massive heart attack.
