Dr. Paul Alexander Farris, MD

Dr. Paul A. Farris is a board-certified radiologist specializing in cross-sectional body-imaging and neuroradiology at Seattle Radiologists. He completed his fellowship in cross-sectional imaging at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire, where he also fulfilled his residency in diagnostic radiology and internship in general surgery.

Dr. Farris earned his medical degree at Dartmouth, where he was presented the Harte Crow Radiology Award for excellence in radiology. While studying at Dartmouth he was also an international-health-group scholar, participating in a pediatric-bladder-stone project in Zambia, and received the Rolf Syvertsen Scholarship.

He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science in cell and molecular biology.

Before joining Seattle Radiologists, Dr. Farris worked as a radiologist at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Memorial Center and as a radiologist at Speare Memorial Hospital in Plymouth, New Hampshire. He has …been a research assistant for the Program for Appropriate Technology and Health in Seattle, which developed innovative solutions to public health issues, and was a guest scientist for the Hagedorn Research Institute in Copenhagen, Denmark, where he completed analysis and characterization of thymic deficiencies leading to Type 1 diabetes in rats.

His work has been published in the American Society of Neuroradiology and the Journal of Immunology.
