I wasn't impressed 2 years ago when he diagnosed me with gastritis and gave me no recourse for treatment. Doubly not impressed when he does an upper GI and tells my husband everything is normal. I call to find out why I am still having symptoms and he said he found redness (no diagnosis) and asks me to take medication. A week later I call and he is on vacation but whoever was on call for him said the meds were probably a placebo effect and not to take them. The. He said I had been diagnosed with dyspepsia and to take more over the counter crap. Seriously? When was I supposed to find out? Throwing up every day regardless of what I eat isn't fun. I am going for a second opinion.

You wouldn’t know if he was a car repairman it a physician with the way he dresses

My husband and I had colonoscopies by this doctor...didn’t even introduce himself and after the procedure, threw the results on the bed with absolutely no discussion and walked out. Would NEVER recommend this doctor !!

Have Crohn's disease went to him for years all of a sudden he acted like he didn't care. He knew I should have colonoscopy at least once a year and when the flared up I would go and see him he would put me on medication and tell me to come back after things calmed down. Went back and he would always say well let's not stir things up so found another GI doctor he did a colonoscopy and found colon cancer had to have my colon removed. But I did find a wonderful surgeon and he saved my life. But if I had continued to see Dr Paul K Frederick I probably would not be here today so I wouldn't even give him one star!!!!!

I’m disappointed in Dr. Paul Frederick. I read the reviews and thought I would give him a chance. I went in for stomach issues and he felt my stomach for 10 seconds and said I had an ulcer. I got an upper endoscopy done (bc he said I had an ulcer) and a had an allergic reaction. I wanted him to look at what happened and thought he would be willing to find out what was wrong. He glanced at the reaction and said no big deal and told me to take some hydro-cortisone. He then said he wasn’t sure what I had and good luck. He said it was maybe the air I was breathing in and my clothes were too TIGHT. I said I don’t know what to say and he said “I don’t know what to say either.” Please do more research to find a great doctor. This was a huge waste of time and money. Doctors are supposed to want to help people, right

doctor launched into anti-healthcare reform griping in the middle of our discussion when he had to submit my prescription refill via electronic means versus handwriting a prescription for me. he did not make eye contact with me once during our visit and did not acknowledge that my concerns about my disease or medication side effects were normal or valid nor did he offer any alternative. just told me to keep taking the pills and come back in a week and we could "talk" about possibly reducing things. i will start looking for another GI doctor. again.
