Dr. Paul Kevin Froberg, MD

After nearly 7 weeks had passed and every medical avenue exhausted, time finally brought me to an MRI to show my extreme pain I had been enduring. Sadly, Dr. Froberg showed his disappointment that along with my CT scan, the MRI showed nothing for any doctor to go on to continue. I was at my last hope, when the following morning (Oct. 3, 2018) at 8:15 a.m, Dr. Froberg phoned, saying he had been concerned about my case, and he shared my MRI with two other doctors. They, indeed, found my GTube was coming out, along with some fluid in a certain area. It was this information, as he added an addendum to the MRI, that let Dr. Driskil at HEB Hospital, to put a squash on a gastrologist who wanted to make another hole in my stomach with her own doctor, rather than go to the man who put the tube it in, Dr. Driskil. A replacement was put in yesterday, Oct. 4, 2018, (thanks to the addendum Dr. Froberg added) as the Gtube had actually malfunctioned, where I now have a new one and my… excruciating pain, that left me not being able to sit or drive, is now completely gone! Without Dr. Froberg's caring insight, and keen knowledge that something had to be wrong, I would be facing Dr. Driskil's nurses, who would not let me see him, as I could not get an order with clear scans in their hands, and the pain would still be with me. It took the fortitude and great integrity to go further in what he was seeing, to ask if other doctors could possibly find something in their view. Now, that, is the kind of doctor I hope all of us would want when pain is at it's highest level, and a doctor is still on your side, when he, himself, sees nothing on the MRI. I told him, after thanking him, that I know now, the sky has just opened up, on that early morning call. God bless people who train, care and reach out, in behalf of the patient, and the grace under his own conscience to procure other's eyes and opinions when faith in his patient is what counted. I am exhilarated to know that after 7 weeks, I had found a wonderful human being who cared and acted on my case with time being of the essence. Hats off to a wonderful doctor in Dr. Froberg! For whatever clout I carry, he will be communicated in the highest manner and regard, from me, my family and friends.
