Have had two cancer surgeries with him and Dr. Snyderman. Dr. Gardner is excellent.

Dr Gardner operated on my wife. We expected the best and got the best. It was only two weeks from going to GP until her operation. Her first postop we had a long wait because of an emergency surgery. We didn't mind a bit as at that time he was where he needed to be. We would recommend him to anyone.

As far as him removing the tumor he did his job. Follow up care is extremely poor, beside manner poor, spending enough time with you poor. Office staff from the check in, nurses or MAs rooming you, and answering calls with questions or concerns beyond poor. Waited 5 hours in a room to be seen for a follow up after an mri to see if the tumor was changing and no one ever came in, asked at hour 4 how long it would be as I now missed a second appointment with another specialist for my contrition and was told it would be 30 more minutes. An hour and 1/2 went by and still was not seen by the doctor nor did anyone even check in on us. I ended up needing to leave to get my child from school. No one from the office ever called to follow up with me or give me my results. I took off work and was scheduled for my mri at 6 am to follow up with him right after. My appointments were scheduled by Gardner’s staff. No one should ever need to wait for over 5 hours to be seen by a doctor with no… explanation of why you are waiting that long. This is a brain tumor not strep throat. At UPMC Neurological surgery you are a number and that’s it. I will be going else where and would enoourage anyone else needing a good healthcare physician and staff to go elsewhere also. They have way too many patients and not enough time to take care of pts the way they need and deserve. It’s a shame and this is NOT OK! Since going back to work from my brain surgeries I have the option to pick UPMC insurance or Highmark. After my 2 year experience with this provider and office staff or lack of I will be picking Highmark. AGH never ever treated us this way. Things need to change there!!!

Dr Gardner and his staff are amazing. They are extremely helpful and wonderful. My son received endonasal surgery seven years ago and has had no additional surgeries. He has had a wonderful quality of life. We are forever grateful to Dr. Gardner.

I saw Dr. Gardner for evaluation of a pineal gland cyst. Quite authoritatively, he assured me that it was no danger and would not grow. He was relatively generous with his time, and answered all of my questions thoroughly, although he had a surgeon's tunnel vision, and was too quick to prescribe therapies outside of his specialty on a speculative basis. Very knowledgeable about neuro-surgery.

Paul is a man that I know he is a man that sleeps on vacation when his kids overflows the bath tub how great of a dad great work Paul keep it up

Dr. Gardner took very good care of my dad this past week. He was very patient and kind with all of our questions.

Dr. Gardner operated on me for Trigeminal Neuralgia, an extremely painful condition. I will never be able to thank him enough for giving me a pain free life again. He is a very patient and caring person and I feel very fortunate to have found him.
