I have never written one of these before I hope I never have to again. DO NOT GO HERE. This doctor is absolutely awful, malicious and will be hearing a lot more from my family. He misdiagnosed, misguided and LIED to my grandfather and family who were TRUSTING him with his health care and now my grandfather he is in the hospital due to this doctor’s misguidance, misdiagnosis and gross neglect. I’m absolutely appalled as a health care provider myself and can’t believe this human is still allowed to work with patients. DO NOT GO SEE. Save your family and go elsewhere. Do not let him get away with doing this to YOUR loved ones. My heart is broken.

With the issues between Hamot/St. Vincent our family unfortunately has to find a new primary care doctor. We chose the West side Pavilion. The office staff was fantastic, the medical assistant was awesome as was the nurse. Dr. Gausman on the other hand was cold, humiliating and not at all what I was hoping for.

My experience with family practitioners spans over 60 years. In that period I have experienced a myriad of excellent results and tragic ones. Without reservation I have found Dr Gausman to be superbly skilled health care professional with an equally skilled supporting staff.

The office staff is wonderful and caring, the nurses are great. Dr. Gausman is horrible, his bedside manner is awful. He stated all my problems, high blood pressure,depression... are in my head and I just need to learn to deal with it. That being 40 pounds overweight is due to the fact that I may be around FAT people(his exact words) so I dont think I need to lose weight. I will be finding a new doctor that cares about their patients
