Dr. Paul Gennaro, MD

Dr Gennaro diagnosed my father when multiple other doctors, incl another neurologist, could not. Treatment was successful. He has been treating my mother for a number of years and takes great time, asks the right questions and always listens to everything we say. When my mom pressed him to do something more he sent her to another doctor for a second opinion and it was the same. He's kind, patient and a superb doctor!

Went to Columbia Neuro Center in New York and Dr Genaro Diagnosis was right on . I have read other reviews but I feel sometimes we want to hear something different and Dr. Genaro tells what he sees and that is a problem for some. The brightest people sometimes don't have the best people skills - Do you want a great doctor or a friend?? Your choice

He takes a personal interest in me and really listens to my input.

I saw Dr. Gennaro for neurological evaluation based on an extensive documented history of concerns...based on his completely disinterested manner, his condescending attitude, and his total disregard for my concerns...I wouldn't let him treat my DOG...stay away.

This doctor has a serious attitude problem...his exam of me was rushed, incomplete, and inappropriate. I'm not a doctor, but I can tell when I'm being dismissed and deisregarded (not to mention disrespected). Stay away.

I came in as a new patient , complaining about burning in my feet when I walk too long or stand and when I sit my feet turn purple n get ice cold ... he did a exam n told me I don't have neuropathy he doesn't want me to come back he doesn't find a reason to go further with a nerve test . I'm 26 yrs old n usually people this young don't come in. He seen my feet turn purple in front of him n I told him my two toes on end of my foot go numb. I told him I'm a new mother of twins and will be working soon I need some relief and almost 99 percent sure this is neuropathy. It runs in my family . I have a bad back I have thyroid problems n I have low sugar. I don't just go see doctors so they can just talk to me n charge my insurance. I was so happy I was finally gonna get answers n tests done n I don't have to be on pain around my kids n this is what I get . I would not refer him to any one stay far away if you are young . That's like saying young people don't get cancer . But doctors… are a dime in a dozen I'm just going to find another who takes his patients complaints n symptoms serious. No follow ups or anything . He let me leave with no test no work up and in pain .
