Dr. Paul Gibbons, MD

No continuity of follow up between visits. Doctor spends time with you but the nurse is rude and very short. Never friendly. Probably over-worked. You want to feel like the doctor and staff have your best health in mind.

The office staff is the absolute worst I've seen and I'm nearly 60 years old. For instance, when I call in for prescriptions the staff routinely screws up the request and often times they don't call back when the prescription is ready. This has gone on for years. When I asked the receptionist how we might resolve the problem, she suggested I speak with the office manager. When the office manager came out to speak with me she was completely obnoxious from the start. I put my hand out to shake her hand prior to the conversation she declined to shake it. Then she proceeded to tell me how wonderful she thinks their patient service is. When I tried to tell her about the problems, she refused to listen or take responsibility, then she abruptly walked away. The truth is, I was anticipating a patient advocate that was interested in understanding the issues and resolving them, but that was clearly naive on my part. She came into the conversation defensively and unprofessionally and ended it the… same way. I've discussed the problems with Dr. Gibbons in the past and he has been completely dismissive. Both the Dr. and his office manager are concerned with one thing - simplifying their time in the office and retiring. And frankly, they both need to.

Good dr.. but poor office staff management. .

I love Dr. Gibbons but his office staff is very rude! When calling to set up an appointment or with a question or concern they are neither friendly or helpful. Though I love him, I get tempted to switch because of them....sad!

Excellent communication and bedside. Spends the time and listens to all of your issues and tries to help with a solution in solving them or managing them. Only Negative is very hard to tryand get a hold of someone in the office..it is always either busy or calls are redirected..

DR Gibbons and his staff are great.They have been treating me for many years.They are friendly and kind and their DX is on target
