Dr. Paul William Grutter, MD

Dr. Grutter is a fantastic doctor and surgeon. He always tries help you with therapy before doing surgery. He has operated on my shoulder twice. He has replaced my sister’s two hips and also done surgery on her shoulder. She actually recommended him to me. I’m glad she did!

Wait time was short, Dr Grutter was very personable and listened to what my problems and issues were. Checked many things and I left feeling good about his recommendations and am looking forward to going back to my followup.

Staff was professional and friendly. Dr.Grutter was cool. He explained exactly what my injury was and everything I needed to know bout my upcoming sugary and recovery/therapy process.

2 years ago he did an ACL repair for me and a manipulation. I kept telling him something was wrong but he would not listen to me. He kept sending me to physical therapy. I could not get my bend. I went to a second dr for a second opinion only to find out he put the screws in wrong. I have since had 7 surgeries and my bend is stuck at 70. I’m in constant pain! He has no compassion and is very rude and nonchalant! No bedside manners what so ever!!

He's the first doctor that I have had to explain to me what was going on in my shoulder. He also was very concerned about my well being not like the other doctors I seen. The other doctors said I was to young to worry about it just to wait or put me on pain killers. I hate pain killers so in my world he rocks.

Was really nice Doctor, but seemed rushed. I felt I wasn't able to exactly explain my situation. I wanted to get into more detail with him. With the pain I have been having. But felt I couldn't because of time. It was like an in and put quickly. Couldnt really go e him details like I wanted. I feel like there's more going on then just tendonitis. Even tho there was an extra, he knows best. But at the same time. Being the patient I was a bit nervous because of feeling rushed. Other than that I'm sure hes a very good Doctor and will take his advise. I've had therapy before, I was hoping for another option that would save me time and money. Things they do at therapy I can do at home. I'm tired of this pain and has gradually worse. I feel it's more in the bone than tendon. Was just a bit uncomfortable. But I chose him because of the good reviews. But still feel like I didnt have a chance to completely explain how and why this came about.

Great doctor. Prompt. He wasn’t fuzzy wozzy but, I didn’t expect that. Gave good details on my problem.
