Dr. Paul Olaf Gulsrud, MD

Dr. Gulsrud was great, he really helped me get those tests done for my UCLA kidney transplant. He used to be my mother-in-law's doctor. Professional compassionate staff as well.

Choose a different doctor! I spoke to Steven at Dr. Gulsrud's office to make a quick and simple appointment. I had a quick and simple question (which I asked politely and calmly, of course) about making a note on my account. Steven lost his patience, raised his voice, and hung up the phone on me out of nowhere. When I called back to speak to a manager, I was informed that there isn't one, and that Dr. Gulsrud doesn't have an email, voicemail, or any direct means of communication. Horrible customer service. I cancelled my appointment. Stay away from this doctor and his disrespectful staff!

Dr. Gulsrud and his nurse are wonderful but his staff is atrocious. The receptionist has been rude many times on the phone and has an attitude. The last time I called to an appointment, I had bronchitis and needed an appointment the day of. Her response was that there were no appointments till the next week. Since Dr G is my GP, I asked for an appointment again for that day and she curtly replied no. I asked what I should do since my GP could see me and she snapped "I don't know"... After I insisted she claimed she could fit me in at the end of the day (8 hrs later). I hung up and went to urgent care. It's too bad Dr G's staff is not compassionate because he and his nurse are wonderful. I will be looking for a new dr. Due to his staff's continued attitude problem,
