My philosophy of care is simple and steadfast. No matter how common a health issue may appear to be, all patients are unique and deserve a personalized plan of treatment that is tailored to their individual needs. I found my passion in managing acute and chronic pain issues and appreciate that the field of anesthesiology allows me to offer people hands-on care.

I consider myself “100% Wisconsin” after growing up in Sheboygan, completing my medical studies in Milwaukee and settling down in New London to practice. There is no place I’d rather call home.

Dr Hoell found out what was causing me 9 years of chronic agony in about 10 minutes!. I have been to over a dozen Doctors for pain help and NONE ever tried to find the cause of my pain. HE DID!! He has given me some faith in doctors again, as I have almost given up.

I thought I had finally found a good doctor.At your first visit he acts nice but in all reality he is full of himself,his staff is very RUDE! He acts like he is the best when he is not...he gave me an injection in my back and i think he hit a nerve so now i need to find someone to fix it!I was warned by people in my community not to go and see him because he hit another lady's nerve and she is still going to the doctor getting it fixed,I would advise you to search for different doctors before you go and see this one!!!!

Dr. Hoell is wounderful he listens to what you have to say, and explains very well to you what is wrong with you. And talks with you about what options there are to help you. I would recommend him to my family and friends.

I've been a patient of Dr. Hoell's for over 10 yrs. managing my quality of life care with a rare pain disorder. His focus, knowledge and authentic care of my health is invaluable. I have recommended him to close friends and family for years without reservation. My husband and children have more of me and our enjoyment of life than we would have otherwise without Dr. Hoell's professionalism and care.
