Dr. Paul Sanford Howard, MD

Dr Howard did my breast reduction, he was very rude, never came out and spoke with my family after the surgery which took at least five hours longer than he has told us. Also sent me home with 105 temp. infection was so bad I stayed in Hospiital two weeks, when he finally decided I had an infection after me calling his office many times. I have had eight revisions and still look like a fright show. Please be cautious when using him.

I have noticed that Dr. Howard has an artistic talent in addition to his training and surgical skills. After reviewing the "before" and "after" images of other surgeons, the very noticeable difference was the natural look of his work. To make improvements, but still look like "me" is very important to most of us. Thank you Dr. Paul!

Dr Howard did a breast augmentation for me in 2005. It has been 13 years and I am still extremely happy. Even 13 years later I walk into his office and he gives me personal attentiveness. Most people think my breast are real because he did such a fantastic job. He was the only doctor we found at the time that would go through the armpit. If I were to have any other cosmetic procedure he would be the one I would choose to use.

Excellent experience and result. I was referred to Dr. Howard by several friends for a face lift who had all used him for their face lifts. He is a wonderful surgeon. His staff is very nice and caring. I have healed beautifully. I am very pleased with my result. I would highly recommend Dr. Howard to anyone.

Stay away. I cannot wear my hair up due to the scars he left. My ear was even damaged from where he cut it.

Dr. Howard performed a tummy tuck and breast augmentation on me about 5 weeks before my wedding. I was nervous with such little time to heal, but I really wanted the surgery so I could feel better and look better at my wedding. I had both surgeries on a Wednesday and returned to work the following Monday. There was the usual pain and discomfort as with any surgery, but it was not unbearable. My husband is amazed and thinks I look wonderful. Every follow-up appointment I've had has been great-quick, thorough, and Dr. Howard always wanted to make sure I was happy with my results. I did talk to a few other surgeons and friends that had plastic surgery before deciding who I wanted to use. After meeting with Dr. Howard and his staff, I was confident, and still am, that he is the best choice for me. He is board certified, he listens and cares, and his results are fabulous. I'm looking forward to my next procedure with Dr. Howard. Thanks a million Dr. Howard - you are truly amazing!

He offered different options and took the time to discuss those options prior to surgery. He didn't spend much time with me during follow up visits but I always felt I could get my questions answered. He has a very helpful staff. I had two procedures done at the same time. At first, it looked like there was going to be great results but after three weeks it looks like I really didn't have anything done. Needless to say I am very disappointed. He put me on a cream and I go back in a month. It will be interesting to see if he offers any suggestions.

I knew I wanted to look younger but I didn't want it to look obvious to others that I had work done. I was very pleased with the whole process. I was photographed at my consult appointment and then Dr. Howard sat down with me and explained all the procedures that he felt I needed. I felt comfortable and I am very pleased with the outcome.

I was very impressed with their website and the option to request an appt date online. Dr. Howard made a big impression on me. He is a very talented doctor with a sweet disposition. I am pleased to say that my surgery went very well and I look fabulous! I will be back in touch with him for all of my future needs.

He has been my plastic surgeon for almost 20 years. I have followed him from UAB to his private office in Homewood. I have referred all of my friends and family to him.
