Dr. Issack completed a medical scientist training program earning Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Biochemistry from the New York University Graduate School of Arts and Science as well as a Doctor of Medicine degree from the New York University School of Medicine. He then completed his internship and residency training in orthopaedic surgery at the New York University Medical Center-Hospital for Joint Diseases/Bellevue Hospital in New York City. He went on to complete clinical fellowships in Metabolic Bone Diseases/Orthopaedic Oncology, Adult Reconstructive Joint Surgery, Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery and Spine/Scoliosis Surgery, at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. He also obtained a Master of Science in Health Quality and Safety from Harvard Medical School. Dr. Issack is Clinical Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College/Cornell University. He also educates U.S. and international trauma fellows in his role as Director of the AO Trauma Fellowship at New York-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital.
