Dr. Paul Lee Jett, MD

I’m being treated for pain management for a traumatic injury by Dr. Jett, his treatment has always been caring and compassionate. He doesn’t just throw medication at problems, but has also prescribed a regimen of physical therapy that has me feeling better than I have in years. I highly recommend him.

I came to Dr. Jett on a referral from my PCP after trying Physical Therapy, chiropractic care, and steroid shots. I was encouraged on the first visit when I heard there was something else he could do. I just completed one side of my back and Dr. Jett has been pleasant, caring, and most importantly excellent at administering the procedures he is educated to do to help relieve pain.

Very caring and demonstrates patience and understanding. I have severe back/neck issues; along with other chronic issues and Dr. Jett has been, by far, the most attentive Dr. in his specialty that I've been treated by in a very long time.

My mother is in her ‘90s, and I have been taking her to Dr. Paul Jett for several years now. You will not find a pain specialist who is more caring, who listens more intently, and who is more careful than Dr. Jett. I am with her at her appointments, so I have the privilege of witnessing how he ministers to patients. If you were to see how compromised my mother’s spine is, you would wonder how anyone could still manage to walk at all. Her scoliosis is so pronounced that her spine looks like a question mark. She also had previous surgeries on her disks. Because of these things, her muscles are stretched and her nerves are pinched, and she has other issues as well. She has been in constant pain for years but manages it bravely with Dr. Jett’s help; he has made it possible for her to continue to use a walker and to still have self-help skills rather than having to be in a wheelchair in a care facility. He can’t take her to pain-free, but he is able to increase the quality of her life to… the degree that she can still go to Bible Study and enjoy her family. Dr. Jett is amazing in his ability to find the places in her body to treat, and he is cautious in his approaches, always beginning treatments from the least difficult to try first. When she had sudden onsets of excessive pain and needed more kinds of help, he worked her into his schedule in front of a holiday so she wouldn’t have to suffer. On one occasion, it helped our whole family to enjoy Thanksgiving because she could participate. His office is clean and well-organized, and everyone who works there has been consistently courteous, efficient, friendly, and kind. Dr. Jett and his group have our long-term, complete trust.

he was the most rude person, not reguard to my daughter back pain. he stormed out of the room and didn't return. his nurse came back in and let her leave, I reported this to the office manger, apologized that is all, nothing else done. DO NOT recommend him to anyone . he has a god complex, he has forgotten what it was like to be a human

I have been to his office several times in Kingsport, and he has been an excellent Doctor to me and has helped me. The practiioners have been fantastic. I have nothing but good to say about this office -- the complete staff are special.

After months of treatment he is nothing more than a dope dealer. Were it not for a NP that saw me I might be dead now. You can't mix certan pain meds with heart meds as he had me on and live. The whole time I was asking for injections in my shoulder. By the way, he had a complete list of the meds I was on. Go to him if you have a drug problem and want to stay on the dope. That is what he's best at.

Dr Jett really helped my back pain--going back for another procedure. His staff is wonderful--helps me feel at ease during procedure.

This is the most egotistical person I have ever met. He thinks he is God himself and is better than everyone else. He is extremely rude to his patients. He will ask a question and not even wait for the answer. He will talk to the nurse or whoever is in the room with him about things that do not even concern the patient. He does not listen to the concerns and needs of the patients. There were previously two other NPs who saw the patients who were caring and considerate. I guess they didn't quite cut it with Mr. Perfect. For some reason, he seems unable to keep staff in the office, whether it is front office staff or nurses. The last time we went, he had a new little woman he was trying to train to see the patients. Talk about a cozy pair...they were hanging all over each other like they were the only people in the office. The patient sure didn't get any attention that day. Wonder what has become of that relationship? He also acted very strange that day, like he was on something. I would… warn everyone to stay away from this so-called doctor. My dog would be able to treat someone with more compassion and sense. If I could rate him a -10, that would be the rating he is worth.
