Dr. Paul Merrill Jordan, MD

I called to make my appointment for my annual physical. I was told that I had called too early and was not due yet. They told me when I could schedule the annual physical. When I arrived on the appointed day (booked several MONTHS in advance) they told me that they could not see me because Medicare only pays for one physical per year and my last years appointment had been on this same date a year ago. They said that they would not perform the physical and that I would have to schedule a later date. No appointments were then available for several more weeks. All because I took the date they had given me. Incompetence by administrative personnel.

While a good Dr he has a horrible staff

Dr. Jordan has been our family physician for going on 20 years now. He has always taken the time to listen to our health issues. We've encountered a few serious health scares over the years and he referred us to the right specialists when needed and even called to check on me when I was hospitalized in an emergency. He has a friendly bedside manner and explains medical issues in a way that is easy to understand. I wish some of my specialists we as kind as this doctor.

It seems the operator accepts only appointment phone call. The staff does not send complete test results and does not respond to inqury of billing issues. The staff does not return my or my insurance company's phone calls. Beware of the cost of any offer tests! I'm not sure if Dr. Jordan is aware of this.
