I had a thoracotomy and Dr Kempe listened to my concerns and desires regarding my surgery and I could not have been in better hands. He’s an excellent skilled surgeon and you’re in excellent hands under his care.

I was one of the Dr Kempe patient,my insurance Global authorize my surgery and he just dump me after the pre-op was done and ready to go.This "Dr" hours before the procedure cancel my surgery.I wouldn't recommend this Dr to anyone.

When I arrived at Hillcrest they gave me a 50-50 chance of survival. Dr Kempe did my quadruple bypass.Five years later I'm still kicking. It's because of his skill I'm still around!

Dr. Kempe is an awesome doctor. I had 99% blockage in what is commonly referred to as the "widow maker". Dr. Kempe performed the bypass. Unfortunately one of the grafts developed a leak and my blood pressure crashed. It was necessary to go back in to repair the leak. Dr. Kempe's rapid response saved my life. His positive actions and reassurance were amazing. I would trust him in a heartbeat (no pun intended).

Dr Kempe did surgery on a tumor that grew inside my heart. Dr. Kempe is the best! He truly is working through God's hands. Words cannot describe how he is so caring, and really listens to what you are saying. God bless Dr. Kempe.

I absolutely love Dr Kempe!! He was kind, caring, very humble and had a great bed side manner!! I'm ashamed I haven't written this review sooner. He preformed triple bypass surgery on me two years ago. God really uses Dr Kempe to help treat so he can heal! I thank God every day for my cardiac team! Thank you Dr Kempe!! Your the best!!

Dr Kempe performed a carotid artery surgery on myself in May 2013. He spent plenty of time with myself and my wife to ensure all of our questions were answered prior to the procedure. His communication style and knowledge made me relax knowing that we had the right surgeon. The day of the surgery went flawless!! I wholeheartedly endorse Dr Kempe and would recommend him!

I have come across many Doctors in my lifetime, and he is by far one of the best! He has excellent bedside manner, and is an excellent surgeon! It is hard to find a person these days that has both qualities! He uses good judgement and takes the time to explain things to his patients!
