Dr. Paul Andrew Knapp, DO

ER visit. Didn't come within 5 feet of me the entire time, asked almost no questions about my current condition, only previous ones. Dismissed all questions and concerns. Kept bringing up meth even though my drug panel was clear, then very cavalierly said, in front of my 10yo child "well it could probably be like 3 kinds of cancer too so see your doctor anyway." It was at that point I realized he had literally no care for what happened to his patients, as long as it didn't happen in his ER room. The follow up with my doctor showed that almost half my symptoms were missing from the report, and none of the imaging they needed had been done. I would literally rather not seek medical attention in an emergency than have him as a doctor.

I went to the ER one night and I certainly did not care for Dr. Knapp. He didn't seem to care about my condition and made me feel as if I was taking up space. Unfortunately you don't get to pick and choose doctors in this situation but he didn't insist on taking x-rays or anything to see if my sinus infection had progressed, simply was not worried or concerned, it's unfortunate for anyone especially a doctor to leave this kind of impression.
