Dr. Paul Warren Koch, MD

Saw him at Ferrel Hospital ER. He was rude and his bedside manner was less than acceptable. He told me 3 possible things that “could” be wrong and shipped me in the ambulance to Evansville for emergency surgery. On what, I wasn’t sure. When I arrived at Evansville, they discharged me immediately saying there was no emergent surgery needed on anything and possibly no surgery needed at all. They had me check back as an outpatient the following week.

I saw Dr Koch in Ferrell Hospital emergency room. I had multiple kidney stones which showed up on a CT scan & he sent me home on a Saturday with nothing for pain & told me to take tylenol. Horrible bedside manner, complete lack of compassion & knowledge.

Had I not known better I would’ve thought I was being punked by the lack of seemingly basic medical information This guy has no clue and kept asking the nurses for answers to our questions about my husband’s condition and what should be done. Even the nurses seemed to think he was incompetent. Horrible bedside manner and seems to not really care. In the end he misdiagnosed the condition and sent us home. He must have graduated last in his class. Avoid him if at all possible.

Horrible ER DR! Spends 5 minutes @ the bedside, orders tests & never comes back! Trust in his knowledge of illness or diagnosis is questionable... Concern for some type of mental problems the way he acts...
