Dr K was very personable and very kind... I did feel a little disappointment in dealing 3 people in the exam room..I did not get to ask several questions about the issue of lichen planus... I'm not sure what I should be looking for and if some of the bumps may have been skin cancers, I pray not..He took several biopsys and determined to be lichen planus and one benion lession, which he did not say what it was...I return in 4 to 6 months, but they made the appointment for 6 months much to my disappointment, I felt it should have been 4 months. This is a very distressing skin disease and a very uncommon one as well.. Not very much imformation given or known as I can find...Overall it was a good report, in not seeing any skin cancer at this time... af

Have seen Dr. K at both his Thomasville, NC and Winston-Salem, NC offices. With a special interest in malignant melanoma, of which I am currently a survivor, he has taken extra care to examine and remove possible pre-cancerous areas that indicate a potential problem. Dr. K and every member of his staff have been professional and courteous. Each person, including Dr. K, has been attentive, instructional, and helpful during a stressful time. Dr. K remembers conversations and refers back to them during follow up exams. I will recommend Dr. K and his staff to anyone who needs a dermatology exam and who wants to be treated with care and dignity.
