Dr. Paul Barry Krivitsky, MD

This dr was referred to me from my er after I fell my full 160 lbs directly onto my nose from a standing position. My cartilage is sticking out thru my nasal passage into my nose. Not only did he miss this upon his inspection, he argued with me that my septum and ball of my nose was not injured at all. With my head concussed, he roughly pulled my face towards him instead of moving his position to look in my nose again. (See photo) I cannot breathe out of my left nostril and when I asked if he could reset it so I could at least breathe, he told me it was too late. I said, I called you the day after my accident, 11 days ago, his response was, “Now, there is no blame here.” Yes, there is. I had called his office several times explaining my nose was crunchy and I could not breathe, asking when I could see him. My accident was sept 10th and I did not get in to see him til sept 22. After arriving the requested 15 minutes early to an empty waiting room and office, I was the only patient in… the entire office, I was tended to by his lovely nurse. He didn’t arrive to our appt for another 40 minutes. It was obvious he had not even looked at my scans and did not recognize my septum was broken. It is my belief he waited long enough so I would be forced to have surgery, which of course he has plenty of time to do for me, as if he is doing me a favor. This was not his decision to make. I am a 59 year old woman who can live with the Frankenstein nose I now have. All I wanted was to be able to breathe clearly. When asked for my review by pen bay, I wrote my beliefs in his review and now the review is gone. I am sorry to say, this is not a doc you can trust.

The worst medical experience I have ever had. The front office staff and nurses were fine and professional, but Dr Krivitsky is the laziest and most incompetent provider I've ever had the displeasure of being referred to. Rude, doesn't seem to care at all about the problems of his patients, and puts in 0 effort to figure out the issue, just a bunch of shoulder shrugging and putting off the work to other doctors. Several visits with no results and only a pile of medical bills to show for it. Seriously, find any other ENT if you're referred here.

I have been to see Dr. Krivitsky 3 times so far and scheduled for surgery by him next Monday. He has been nothing but nice, respectful, and informative in each visit. His staff I will admit on the first visit, not so friendly, however, my other two visits they were extremely friendly and accommodating.

The dr is stoic no sign of compassion and just not the greatest. I would not recommend to anyone.

He is not very good at explaining my condition very well. I'm not sure if he is not taking me seriously because I am younger than his usual patients or he is just too busy. He doesn't say much unless I ask him questions which is not impressive at all. After 2 visits, I called my primary care doctor's office and asked another referral to a different otolaryngologist! Seriously, I don't recommend Krivitsky!

This guy AND his staff are lacking in personality, warmth, and courtesy. The big, tall, older woman in the front office is hard and callous over the phone, and the doctor seems quite similar in his offputting manner. He is very condescending. And he is one of these "You do as I tell you, period" types. How about a smile people? How about being a bit more personable and...human? The only human-like, cheerful person in the office is the young girl who does the intake. We all have to put on a smile---fake or not---in life. And, if you are in the service field, as I am, it's crucial.
