Dr. Paul Wilson Lane, MD

I have a liver condition that causes my blood pressure to dive to dangerous low. So low that on occasion I get extremely dizzy just standing up. I also had a terrible stomach bug and a fever. I went the ER and Lane checked me in. I was laying on my lady side, speaking to a nurse. Without warning Lane went behind me and administered a prostate exam! No explanation, no warning. I told him how inappropriate and creepy that was. I was angry and very sick. His reply was ‘come on, you’ve had those before. You should have expected that.’ I’m not a doctor, I’m a chef. I’m not qualified to anticipate anything from a veteran doctor. And I’m really angry at his arrogant and pathetic attempt to blame me! The guy was a jerk, condescending arrogant jerk.

I went in last Sunday night after falling on my head. Dr. Lane and his team were extremely nice, professional and helpful. They listened to my concerns and answered all my questions with compassion. They were also extremely thorough, taking blood work, X-Rays, and CT Scans. Their excellent bedside manner helped get me through a scary and difficult situation. I couldn't have asked for a better experience under these circumstances. I highly recommend Dr. Lane and his team.

Horrific experience, him not believing what happened to me, now showing me CT scans, talking to me in detail, or truly listening to my concerns when I know my body and what's going on while he tells me I'm making it up. I simply want to know what is going on in my body. Not a trustworthy doctor at all and pray I didn't get infected with something. Have had horrific nightmares since visiting.

I was seen in the ER for a condition that I've had since birth. Dr Lane obviously knew nothing about the condition. He immediately treated me as if I were med seeking when I was specifically saying I didn't want anything to mask the pain, I wanted the problem fixed not covered up. He stated that my neuro checks were fine when he never did any. As far as I'm concerned he is a complete waste of skin!

Dr. Paul Lane would not prescribe pain medicine if it was going to save your life. He completely ignores his patients cries and expressions of pain. Apparently "Tylenol" is appropriate for extreme cyatic pain. As for sinusitis, naproxen is his choice, even when a CT scan shows extreme sinus blockage and ALL OTHER emergency doctors reviewed prescribed at a minimum, thirty count 7.5/325 strength oxycodone/APAP. If you break your neck or your back and you see this doctor attending to you, prepare for the most painful night of your life as he will provide you with over the counter relief for any situation.
