Some doctors only care bout the money. Keep your money and go somewhere else.

Highly intelligent. Knows his stuff.

Receptionist had an attitude. Waiting a long time in exam room. Diagnosis was not accurate. Went to another Dr for second opinion. Got a correct diagnosis.

Semi retired so hard to get a hold of. Got a new doctor that cares about my health and has a caring staff. His diagnosis was off base and didn't look further.

Went for second opinion. Thank God I did, the second opinion saved my life!

I consider a physician who listens to his patient, allows adequate time for each visit, and follows through, an excellent practitioner (I found too many who don't meet this criteria.) His skill of diagnosing issues may seem almost social at times because he makes people feel at ease with him so they reveal emerging issues and he doesn't jump on the newest treatments at times because he's seen many come & go without good results.

His appointments are just a little social get together......when it comes time to make medical decisions, he runs! He actually called the visiting nurse office to reprimand them stating, "don't bother me with this patients meds anymore!" If it wasn't for the visiting nurse my dad could have died or lost a limb.

Dr. LeMaitre is an outstanding physician who is concerned and caring about his patients. He is a dedicated physician who spends as much time as neccessary with each of his patients. He takes the time to talk with his patients and their families. You never feel rushed in his office. Is an extremely personable and approachable physician.

My parents are unfortunately receiving very poor care under his supervision. Dr Lemaitre puts a great deal of time into writing prescriptions and very little time looking to understand the route cause of problems. I would highly suggest looking elsewhere for a physician.

His office lady will not appreciate your having mass health and as soon as possible you will be referred to someone that will take mass health. He seemed frustrated with being asked questions. Did not apppear to be up to date with current diagnostic tools. Recommended waiting four to six months for a surgery. Went to another doctor who got a surgeon that wasn't lemaites friend and had the surgery. Turned out the small tumor was cancer! Thank God I did not wait or follow his advise. This doctor is right when he states he 'practices' medicine. That must be why he is no longer in neuphrology. Office manager was very concerned regarding payment and the fact I had mass health. They must feel they are too important to spend their time with mass health clients. The lady appeared to be very rude and a snob!
