Dr. Paul Spencer Lieber, MD

I have received somewhere between 10 and 15 x-ray guided injections throughout the last few years from Dr. Lieber, to treat several problems associated with spinal stenosis, arthritis, and scoliosis. At 70, I am trying to avoid surgery and so far have been able to do that. The staff at R.A.P.S.....both the medical and surgical departments....are very good. The office staff has improved; (I did post one negative comment several years ago. )But the care team on the surgical end is excellent. They are personal, caring, consistent, and thorough. I always feel that I am in good hands when there and never have anxiety about any treatment. The staff seems to have the highest regard for Dr. Lieber. He has run behind for surgery (injections) a couple of times due to unforeseen circumstance - patient issues, I believe - but they are extremely apologetic and always come to the waiting room to explain the delay. I think a patient can easily "read" nurses' opinions of a doctor, and it's obvious the… nurses think the world of him. His treatments almost always remove my pain. He is caring, but not in a typical b.s. way; he is confident, respectful, and patient centered, in my opinion. I would not go elsewhere for pain management.

He is a rude jerk. He doesn’t ask questions or talk to his patients about treatment. He talks at you and expects you not to question him. His suggestions included injections that he guaranteed would work. He wouldn’t answer questions about the side effects or possible complications. Stay away, don’t waste your time, go to a doctor who cares about you and not just making money. I won’t be going back.

Dr. Lieber was rude and very short tempered. He was very rough when conducting his exam and did not explain what he was doing or why. When he decided he was done he told me to get dressed then slammed the door. He left without answering any questions or letting me know what my treatment goals would be. I will not be returning. I had heard good things but refuse to be treated like that by somebody who is a doctor and is SUPPOSED to help people.

I have had a total of eight injections in my back and seven of them didn't hurt however the last injection I got from him was so painful I could barely stand it I feel he was in a bad mood that day and I was his pin cushion I am saying it felt like he was going to break the needle off in my back like someone else said it's all about the money

Very professional and knowledgeable. Listens and understand and answers all questions. Highly recommend Dr. Lieber.

My issue was a torn Meniscus in my left knee causing significant pain. I considered 2 options: (1) The "Normal" surgery approach and (2) Stem Cell injections to regrow tissue and rehab the knee. I chose #2 because, I may avoid needing a knee replacement - perhaps permanently (the surgeon said I may need a knee replacement within 5-10 years of his surgery). My insurance did NOT cover the Stem Cell procedure. Stem Cell worked beautifully. I'm healed, no pain, and golfing 3x per week!

Miracle-worker! Dr. Lieber and his excellent team were superb. It's only been 1 month and I'm pain free. Highly recommended.
