Dr. P. David Lopez, DO

Dr. Lopez is a great doctor. He really takes the time to listen and get to know his patients and is always very concerned.

Doctor Lopez is a great man, he is patience and very polite. We have been to his office three times with a new born for the regular check ups, he does not give much info about stuff and when we ask him about some concerns we have about our baby (such as breathing different, not sleeping, reflux, etc.) he says its normall or evades our question. I would not recommend him if you are a new parent, but if you have plenty of experience as a parent and have an over all heathy child he is a good doctor.

Dr. Lopez is a courteous person, but in my opinion, tends to treat you as an idiot, regardless of the situation. I find him to be a bit of an alarmist. Either that, or he just wants to wring the most money out of you that he can for Cook's. He also takes FOREVER to call you back.

A complete waste of time don't even bother, treats people like idiots and doesn't care at all.

We have been seeing Dr. Lopez for almost seven years. Our older son has several health problems so we have spent many hours with Dr. Lopez over the years. He is always very caring and personable, following up with phone calls and always asking about the other child if I just bring one in. We are blessed to have Dr. Lopez in our lives and will continue to see him until our kids grow up.

WE have been going to Dr.David for 10 years Now.. Candice go's in to his office.. and he will recall everything that she has ever in for without look over her chart....that what i call a Great DOC..Candice is not just A number in this eye!!!!! She has all looked forward to go seeing Dr P.David Lopez,,,

Dr. David Lopez is a great man...very courteous and professional with a nice bedside manner for the kids. Unfortunately, the practice he is in is nothing but a pediatric MACHINE! Keep the kids coming in and out the door without any time spent on what is really needed.My son was having sleeping issues for 4 months- when I finally decided to go see our pediatrician, Dr. Lopez for advice. My son was in counseling with a therapist for 2 months, we had done extensive research on his 'issues' but felt it might be a medical issue now and needed the advice and guidance from our trusted pediatrician. After our "non-medical" (ie..not important) appointment was rescheduled 3 times, we finally get in to see Dr. Lopez. He spends the entire time typing on the laptop (which I know is the new norm) answering me with alot of "uh-huhs and yeahs" as we discuss. He is then called out of my appt. to see another child (understandably...sicker than my son) but when he returned- he had checked out of my… issue. He quickly wrote down 2 psychiatrist that I could consult as there was nothing else for him to do. No blood workups, no discussion of sleeping aids, dietary issues, NOTHING- he was done with us. and now...I am done with him! I've loved the Cooks Children's Network practices for years, but this particular practice has become a machine and the personal touch that I need from my pediatrician is GONE!
