Dr. Paul Mervyn Louis, MD

Met this doc at Bayfront Urgent care. He was the rudest and most unprofessional provider I have ever met in my lifetime. He didn’t enter the room. He yelled at my daughter to put on a mask and shouted her diagnosis out in the hallway for everyone to hear! He told the patient he has asthma and people have been coughing on him all day! He also said he was under stress and shared a coworker committed suicide. Well doc, we are sorry you are experiencing all of this but when you meet a sick patient, you leave your issues at the door. You treat sick people with kindness and compassion. Dr. Paul Louis is the worst provider we have ever encountered in a lifetime. All patients should steer far away from him because you will not get kind, compassionate or knowledgeable adequate care.

He was very responsive, in less than 20 minutes he coordinate an ER procedure. I left the hospital without pain and feeling good. He was the first ER doctor that really resolved my problem. Very efficient .

I thought he was a bit rude. Terrible bed side manners spends very little time with you. He discharged me with no explanation as to what could have been wrong with me. Ordered an US but didn’t give results overheard a nurse saying I should have been given a CT before I left. Stay away from Bethesda West in Boynton while he’s on his shift there.

Thank you Dr Louis! I really appreciate the fact that you took the time to listen to my complaint. Even though I was your emergency room and it was super busy, you made me feel important. You have an excellent bedside manner. Thanks to you I feel so much better.

Stear away. No bedside manner, rude, aggorant but gives no answers. I don’t think he even has answers. He spends less than 30 seconds. If you get more then a minute. Feel lucky. He doesn’t ask you questions nor cares to hear what you have to say. Unless you are on your last breath, I guess take your chance with them. Thank God my husband wasn’t truama patient If you go to Bethesda West in Boynton Beach. Make sure he’s not working when you go in. If I was this hospital I’d get rid of him in a heart beat before he misses someone else’s diagnosis on your watch.

Dr Louis was compassionate, intelligent, and efficient. He rocks!!!

I had the same experience of the other reviews below. He didn't want to listen how I was really feeling and wanted a short answer. He was arrogant and condescending as well. He checked me out even though I still wasn't feeling good and said follow up with your doctors.

I was in the Emergency Room, he disharge me without explaining my condition and he did spend very little time with me. No diagnosis and very dissatisfied patient.

I've met him twice and I will NEVER go back to Boca Regional Hospital as long as he is working for them. I'd rather die trying to get to Delray medical center than to have this guy anywhere near me when I need medical attention.

If this is a physician who practices in The Boca Raton Regional Hospital then my review of the person could not be worse . I found him to be arrogant , nasty and condescening . He has the worst bedside manner which is only matched by his lack of knowledge and concern . I honestly think doctors like this should never be practicing medicine . I think he would be better suited to something else like a job where he has no contact with humans ...THE WORST !
