Dr. Paul Nicholas Maton, MD

I went to Dr. Maton because I was having problems after a back surgery. On the first visit he was very nice but my severe abdominal pain was not resolved with his suggestions of taking high doses of Miralax, which only made it worse. On the second appointment, he again didn't listen to my issues and AGAIN told me to take Miralax and prescribed medication, which did nothing for the pain. I called the nurse and she said, let me talk to him about a CT or a scope. I was happy about that until she called me back and said, nope he just wants you to continue the meds. She did call me back a couple weeks later and asked if I would come in to see if I was anemic...BAAAA....I used to be a paramedic, I know what abdominal pain is and what anemia is. I am not anemic. So I have given up on Dr. Maton and his "Just take Miralax" suggestions. I will simply live with this pain until its so bad that I end up in the ER. Dr. Maton and his staff were no help to me. I would not suggest them to a friend… and would not let a family member ever go to him.

This is by far hands down the WORST physician I have ever seen. He has absolutely the worst bedside manner I have ever experienced in my life and I have worked in healthcare for 10+ years. Not only did he make me cry and feel stupid but he also told me basically everything that was going on was in my head!! It's funny because when I got a second opinion, I ended up having to have major surgery within weeks! All I can say is STAY AWAY!!!!

Expect that your insurance plan will not fully cover a colonscopy if polyps are removed. To my surprise, I received a bill from his medical group, Digestive Disease Specialists, Inc. in the amount of $230.54 after my procedure for a facility charge.

Top notch, absolutely, totally amazing doctor. Staff great. He's tested me every five years for 25 years. I have 2 close family members who died of colon cancer. Lousy way to go. Not taking any chances

Doctor Paul Maton M.D. is the BEST DOCTOR to see. He's very concern and show you repect. He's concern for your health. The one's working for Him Are VERY GOOD AND TREATS YOU WITH REPECT also. And are concern for your Health also. If You want a excellent Doctor go to Paul Maton M.D.
