Dr. Paul David Matzkin

I had several different appointments with Dr. Paul Matzkin years ago, when he was working under a wonderful Dr. named Dr. Downs and West, in Claremont NH. Dr. Matzkin was the worst doctor in my 53 years, I have ever been in the presence of....no compassion whatsoever, not a care in the world about his patient's. He just does NOT care!! He is certainly in it for the money.

Nightmare experience. Dr. Matzkin is very negative not only about patients' health outlook but even with family members. Very rude has no empathy for his patients. He came out of my husbands' room and said he has been here too long I expect more complications. Dr. just stares at you no expression on his face did not give us a plan to help my husband just keeps saying he has been here too long getting worst. The Doctor the day before told us he was looking and acting the best he ever saw him. When I saw Dr. Matzkin, I felt negative energy coming over me, I felt like he felt that there was no hope. Besides myself, he had upset several of my husband's family members. We all were crying when he left.

He was my husband’s hospitalist. It was clear he did not read my husband’s chart. He entered the room clueless. He was condescending and had only excuses. No compassion whatsoever for a man who has been in the hospital for more than a month.

Dedicated to his patients and will go above and beyond what most Doctors will do.

I had been a patient of Dr Matzkin for over six years. His diagnosis were always right on! I trusted his opinions and appreciated his professionalism. He listened. Very rare these days. He was able to hear and see what what really wrong. He told me one time "I listen because I treat the whole patient not just the ailment. ". I miss him since he relocated. You cannot do better than Dr Matzkin. He has a heart and he has the pulse of of patient

Dr Paul Matzin has been our family doctor for many years, Even right out of school he diagnosed our daughter with juvenile shingles. He has counseled us as well as treated our illnesses. He has humor and is very direct about his prescribed care.
