Dr. Paul Tessmer Mcbride, MD

Dr. McBride was my "doc of last resort." After being told for over 20 years that I needed to use ointments and creams more regularly (including cortisone) to relieve my "overly dry skin," take fewer showers, etc., I found this highly intelligent doctor. He truly finds the answer when no one else can do so. If you're frustrated due to lack of solutions and ready to give up, make one more phone call to Dr. McBride's office.

I've been going to allergy doctors all my life and I'm in my late seventies now. Dr. McBride and his clinic are head and shoulders above any I've ever been to. I highly recommend them.

Dr. McBride was a HUGE breath of fresh air (pun intended) after seeing many other practitioners. Excellent bedside manner, intelligent, good listening and overall superior doctor.

My son loved him, wait time was a little long, however well worth the wait! Spends appropriate time with each patient. Excellent with explanations. Very conscientious of cost of treatment for patient, looks for least expensive appropriate treatment. Great RN too.

I really enjoyed my first meeting with Dr. McBride. I was sent out to obtain more allergy tests and he was to consult with me on the results. Its been 6 weeks and I haven't heard back yet. I don't believe this is his error, probably a clerical issue.

I'd highly recommend Dr McBride for someone with complicated allergies or new allergies/issues. He's great with asthma - both my boys are allergy-free and asthma-free after one round of allergy shots. But he really shines for the complicated cases, like me. For someone with multiple allergies and a significant number of food intolerances/allergies, Dr McBride has been a godsend. After I stumped the Mayo Clinic and got a tentative diagnosis of Mastocytosis, the local support group forwarded me to Dr McBride as he had worked with multiple Masto. patients during his time at NIH in Immunology. Over the next 4 years, thru trial and error, Dr McBride established a medical protocol for my multiple medicines, and food restrictions that allowed me to go back to work fulltime. This included food sensitivities that related to seasonal allergies like how cantaloupe makes my mouth swell only during hay-fever season. After another 2 years of semi-stability, I was reassigned to the building… where I initially got sick. Not so good - Dr McBride has been using every tool in his considerable tool kit (starting with his expertise as a chemical engineer prior to med school) to mitigate the severe asthma I've developed. He's managed to keep me working full time, but quality of life is not so good (not his fault). We have been judiciously using steroids to get over the worst during the late summer allergy season, but now are trying a temporary relocation out-of-Pacific NW approach. Big improvement in reducing daily asthma so far. As for working with his office, he generally has openings within 2 weeks, has Wednesday evening appointments til 6:45 pm, his office staff are efficient but FMLA paperwork may take a week or two to get processed and in the mail. They do everything either by FAX or snailmail - email for MyChart is only for refill requests so far. Dr McBride is the Head of Allergy Dept. for Everett Clinic, so any of his staff at Everett Clinic are great - they can consult with him if needed. He is also on the board of the Univ. of Washington Medical Center, and multiple other medical facilities in the Seattle area as his expertise in allergies to medications is renown.

Dr. McBride has helped my entire family over the years. He has found answers when many other physicians had failed. I trust and cooperate with him. I have been so chrinically sick in the past, and his encouragement was welcomed. I am more than thankful for my renewed health and energy--I am well because of his suggestions.

Dr. McBride is great. I have been seeing him for about 15 years. I really like how he explains everything so that you can understand it, even draws a visual picture. I suffer from chronic sinus infections and allergies. He has been very helpful.

Dr. McBride has treated me since I began to have asthma symptoms while pregnant. Frankly, he has kept me alive. He also treats my son and my husband. For anything involving the respiratory system, we skip the GP go straight to him. He always remembers us and our ailments. Do yourself a favor & make an appt. It's worth waiting for.

Great Doctor, caring, explained everthing perfectly however his Nurse Cheryl was not great,she didn't return phone calls and absolutely no follow through on her part.
