Dr. Paul Gerard Meade, MD

Avoid this man. He has the bedside manner of a rattlesnake and I'd trust one more than him. He yells at nurses so patients can hear, doesn't actually speak to patients unless it is to tell them to get themselves together and stop being sick. I was throwing up and he literally told that to knock it off. Then decided after a major surgery that I would be leaving before the weekend whether my symptoms were under control or not. He also didn't fix anything and just made it worse. I now need more surgeries and after my experience with him, I am terrified. Thanks, Meade.

I believe Dr. Meade who performed my hemorrhoid surgery is a very skilled surgeon. He was open minded and tried eight of the rubber band procedures and then it was determined that approach was not going to solve my continuous bleeding situation. Normally many patients have three weeks of post operative discomfort. By the fifth day after surgery I was almost painless. His technique evidently produced an outstanding result for me. I would highly recommend him.

Dr Meade is an excellent surgeon. He listens to my questions and answers them. He's very polite and kind but very professional.

Surgery yet to be done. Dr. Meade is not very personable. Explains and answers questions as if addressing other docs/ med students. I had to ask questions numerous times to get details, still not fully informed. Asked him to explain in 'layman's' terms, he seemed very annoyed. However, he appears knowledgeable & capable. Will review again post surgery.

Very rude person

Would not recommend. Doesn't explain procedures and doesn't seem to care about his patients.
