Dr. Paul L Mefferd, DO

I could not edit my first post so I redid it thanks. I am a older pain patient for last 30 years. Nerve damage and chronic pain. Wife retired we moved from New England to Georgia. Tried to get an appointment with Dr. Mefferd but with no reason won’t see me as pain patient.. He gets his receptionist to call to tell me not man enough to talk to me and tell me why. What he advertises is a lie. If he specialized in back pain spine etc… he should at least tell me why. I was with my doctor for years, no problems with treatments why didn’t he call my doctor? Makes wonder… does he only want young well patients.’SMH

The staff is great and knowledgeable. The procedures have been somewhat helpful but Dr. mefferd is really taking the time to listen to my problem and I feel like he is trying everything posible to help me.

My procedure went well, no complaints. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable. I wish he would be a little more on time.

Dr. Mefferd is a great Doctor. I have had two injections to help with my back pain and I feel like a new person! I couldn’t be happier with my experience!

I receive procedures from Dr. Mefferd. He and his staff are simply the best. He is efficient and knowledgeable. I feel like he takes the time to explain things in a manor I can understand. His office is comfortable and his staff is excellent. I highly recommend Dr. Mefferd to all of my friends.

I have been seeing Dr. Mefferd for about ten years now. He was the third doctor that I had seen about my issues. I honestly feel that Dr. Mefferd is the best doctor in Atlanta. I trust and ask for his opinion on everything to do with my body. Severe pain is no joke. It really takes at your quality of life. And I believe Dr. Mefferd has the best intentions of helping me get through each day. I really consider him family at this point. And the nurses and front desk ladies are the nicest people you will ever meet. I would recommend Dr. Mefferd over any doctor in Atlanta.

Dr Mefferd is a doctor I can trust and who takes the time to explain my condition and answer all of my questions. I won't be going anywhere else!

I have multiple, chronic conditions that I sought Dr. Mefferd's help with. I have seen one other doctor within Dr. Mefferd's specialty and, hands down, Dr. Mefferd is the finest in his field. I have received multiple injections from him and have yet to have anything other than minimal discomfort during these procedures that, with a different, well-known physician, were unbearably painful. In addition to this level of expertise, he listens and treats you like a person, not a number. His genuine desire to help ease my excruciating pain is unfortunately not commonly seen anymore. He, and his whole staff, treats me like an old friend they're trying to help. The staff is courteous, compassionate and there to help. I'm so happy that I've got this incredible team in my corner! And I'd give him the maximum 4 stars but for some reason my phone isn't allowing me to! :(
