Dr. Paul Vincent Metzger, MD

Was treated with the utmost disrespect from Metzger and his team. I hadn't eaten enough one day and fainted, hitting my head on the sidewalk. I was extremely disoriented, as I had just had significant head trauma. Metzger and his team assumed that I had been drinking and LAUGHED at me as soon as they left my bedside. I barely even knew where I was -- thank god for my partner being with me. The medical team treated me with complete disregard (they were outright rude and disrespectful) and sent me on my way. A few weeks later, I went to another doctor to discuss my intense migraines, and she told me I had a bad concussion and gave me the proper course of treatment. Now, years later, I'm looking at my test results from that night. They had tested my blood alcohol levels. My question is, why? As a joke?? The results were literally 0 mg/dl. I look back on this hospital visit now as a traumatic event in my life. Please DO NOT seek care from this doctor or the team at Good Samaritan, for… your own sake. The only medical treatment I received from them was severe medical gaslighting and mistreatment.

I am extremely unhappy with the service that we received from Dr. Metzger at good Samaritan on Harrison Avenue."dr."Metsker diagnosed my granddaughter with contact dermatitis for a rash on her arm. She was also suffering from congestion and a croup like cough. He ran what I felt was an unnecessary x-ray to see if she had pneumonia. She did not. Three days after this diagnosis, my granddaughter was taken to a physician who said that the rash was actually a fungal infection and should not have been treated with hydrocortisone as Dr. Metzger prescribed. Because of that misdiagnosis they ran another x-ray on my four-year-old granddaughter. Only to diagnose her with respiratory blockage. Get back to school doc.
