Loss of range of motion after joint replacement

Dr. Miller did a total reverse shoulder replacement on my husband and the results have been excellent. He has full range of motion with his "new" shoulder. We thank him from the bottom of our hearts. He'll soon be performing a knee replacement on my husband as well. He is a fantastic surgeon whom we recommend to anybody in need of his area of expertise. We thank him from the bottom of our hearts.

If you want a doctor who is concerned about your overall well being and not just the part of the body that the doctor will be working on, then Dr. Miller is NOT the physician you want.His only concern is the joint that he will be doing surgery on. He will not ask "how are you doing?", "what, if any problems have you had since the surgery?". His bedside manner is lacking. At my first visit, when asked what the recovery time would be, he gave a time line that was half of what it actually was. My impression of him is that it is all about him, instead of truly being aware of what his patients are going through while under his care.I will not return to Dr. Miller for any orthopedic concerns I have, and I will not refer any of my friends or family.

This doctor let's his wife treat his patients like dirt on her shoes. After a failed knee replacement and further surgery needed his wife demanded that I have surgery within the next 5 days. Even tho a cardiologist sent them a letter stating I had to be off the blood thinners for 7 days, this doctor abandoned me as his patient. Do yourself a favor and go to anyone besides him. He let's his wife rule his practice and threaten his patients. They are money driven not patient care.
