Dr. Paul Stephen Miller

My Daughter saw DDS Miller for close to 9 years in order to deal with the straightening of her 2 eye teeth. DDS Miller charged a large, but somewhat reasonable up-front fee of $6,000 and a monthly fee of $275 (which did make us a bit nervous). We knew that the process would take a few years to reach completion but had no idea it would last over 9 years before we eventually terminated his services. It was extremely difficult to make appointments with DDS miller at either of his offices which lead to appointments only 1-2 times per month. He rarely listened to our daughter's feedback which created a tense atmosphere for everyone involved. DDS Miller refused to work on more than one problem at a time which lead to this relationship continuing for many more years than necessary; the monthly fee never stopped and lead us to believe that he was purposely extending the treatment. During the time we saw DDS Miller, several other patients mentioned to us their similar feelings but we… stayed with Dr. Miller hopeful that the end was near. However, with our daughter about to enter college we decided to cut our losses and retain a more reputable dentist even though we had to pay another up-front fee. This ended up being the worst medical/dental situation I have ever experienced in over 50 years. DDS Miller is an egomaniac; all he wants to hear is how great he is in spite of his suspect results. The only reason we decided not to start a legal proceeding is because we knew how difficult it would be to prove his malpractice in NYS. We highly recommend that you avoid DDS Miller's services at any cost. His antiquated methods are far surpassed by many dentists in and around Long Island.
