Dr. Paul Mohabir, MD

One star feels too generous! I had a very disappointing experience with this doctor. During my visit, they came across as arrogant and dismissive, which made it difficult to feel comfortable asking questions or discussing concerns about my health. More concerning was the way they interacted with staff members. The doctor spoke to them in a disrespectful and unprofessional manner in front of patients, which created an uncomfortable environment and did not reflect the level of professionalism I would expect in a medical setting. As a patient, I also felt that my concerns were not taken seriously. The appointment felt rushed, and there was little effort made to explain treatment options or show genuine concern for my care. If you have the option... find a different doctor!

Avoid

Has threatened to dump multiple CF patients (including myself) when we are struggling with the emotional aspect of the disease and have a hard time finding the motivation to do our treatments. Zero empathy for anyone. Stanford hospital should really hold it's doctors to a higher standard.

The title pretty much sums it up. If you're looking for a doc who is genuinely concerned and cares about your well-being, keep looking. He's a narcissistic poor excuse for a doctor with horrible bedside manner. He's the kind of person would has never been told no and always had things go his way. From strickly a medical aspect, I've been sick for a year and he hasn't been able too figure out anything and simply tells me "I need to just get use to it". Look elsewhere for your physician people.

Not what we expected from a Stanford doctor

Can't say enough bad things about this doc. Absolutely the worst physician I have ever encountered. So arrogant and inept at the same time. Stay away.

I wish that Dr. Mohabir and his loved ones will fall into the hands of doctor exactly like himself at their most critical moments of their lives, nothing more and nothing less.
