Dr. Paul Roberts Naour, MD

He is fake. Not considerate not caring. His explanations are non-convincing and his interventions non effective. Would not recommend him at all

I wanted to get pain management for two herniated discs, was not looking to get an invasive surgery to correct. Dr. Naour made sure my pain was under control and with out surgery

My daughter, a disabled young woman with cerebral palsy and in a wheel chair, was referred to see Dr. Naour, for pain management help. He treated her very poorly wanting to know why she was referred to see him at all. When asked for help with breakthrough pain management he told her "that is not what we are here for, go to the E.R." He acted frustrated and insecure. But regardless of whatever his reason, bottom line, he treated a disabled young woman in a wheelchair in a very rude and condescending manner. Is this how you would want your loved one treated? I say not!

Dr. Naour is not the first pain management specialist I have seen. Over the years there have been several yet pain kept escalating regardless of the treatment. Dr. Naour is the only one that practiced balance. Instead of looking at just medication, just injections, or just physical therapy he looked at the mind and body as a whole. While relief was not instantaneous over the course of my treatment I am at a point where I am actively participating in life again. I can sit long enough to enjoy a play, I can stay at work for a full 40 hour week. Prior to seeing Dr. Naour that wasn't possible. He is very good at answering my questions and explaining why something will/won't work and explaining the mechanics of pain. Respect and trust is tantamount in the doctor/patient relationship and the time he spends during the appointment getting to know the patient allows that trust to develop. I highly recommend Dr. Naour.
