Dr. Paul Wayne Natvig, MD

I saw Dr. Natvig for 2.5 years while I lived in the area, and I always looked forward to my appointments with him. He was very direct and straightforward with me, and always told me exactly what he was thinking. He has a great sense of humor and is extremely intelligent. He makes a point of challenging preconceptions and beliefs, which I found immensely useful, and I would very, very highly recommend him to anyone who prefers to be challenged. The only downside is that the appointments often started late, and this seems to be because he spends additional time with his patients and often runs over the normal appointment time.

Dr. Natvig is very straightforward and frank. He's honest about what he thinks and an excellent person to engage in intelligent discourse; it's obvious that he knows what he's talking about and is very experienced when it comes to depression, anxiety, and eating disorders. At the same time, he's tactful when he needs to be, and really seems to enjoy meeting with his patients. I couldn't possibly recommend him more highly. I always look forward to my visits with him, no matter what they're about or how uncomfortable the subject might be.
