Dr. Paul Bryan Nieves, DO

Fantastic doctor. Did my surgery. Had no pain. Highly recommend him

Had gone to Dr. Cameron since I was eighteen and when he passed away a friend suggested that I see Nieves, have been to him a few times now and in my opinion he seems smart but very arrogant and uncaring when you try to explain your concerns, overheard his nurse and him whispering and laughing about a concern I had before my exam, I heard them just outside the door before they came in the room for my exam, very rude!! Dr. Cameron was the best in my opinion, hard to find Doctors with that same caring attitude. I have nothing against the clinic, the staff at the front desk and everyone else is just wonderful to me , just not happy with Dr. Nieves, definitely going to look for another gynecologist!!!!

My appointment was just a prenatal follow-up visit, and normally, I don't see him. It was my first time meeting him, and he came across as very rude. He didn't give me much time to speak about anything. Instead, he lectured me about how heartburn works. I felt like I was being ridiculed as I was leaving the room and walking down the hall. After my appointment, I talked to a friend of mine who also seen him, and he was very rude to her as well. I made sure I was not seeing him for my next prenatal visit.

He saved mine and my daughter's life. I couldn't ask for a better doctor!

Dr Nieves is the best doctor for obstetrics and gynecology around! He found diagnosis and problems that even the specialists in a big city couldn't tell us. Because of him my husband and I have a child who's almost 2 and another baby due in 4 weeks! I HIGHKY recommend him and all the practitioners at his office! They are absolutely amazing!

A very smart man, I had complete confidence despite the long wait to get an appointment, the long waiting room waits ( average 1hr +) . His intelligence is top notch but his bed side manner is unacceptable. I, along with several patients like myself, experienced unnecessary pain during procedures that were simple and routine. The painful suffering after before as well as surgical procedures was completely intolerable and without reason. Individuals including myself have been told to deal with the pain with OTC medications such as Tylenol/Aleve, that there was nothing more they would/could do to ease the painful experience. That is absolutely absurd. His office had no problems charging me ( not tenncare or government assisted health insurance) large office co pays before being seen, nor did they hesitate in any form to charge outrageous amounts to perform the urgent medical procedures that were recommended by Dr. Nieves, telling me the entire time that without the procedures, my life… was at risk for more severe medical complications. I followed health instructions, medical advice, trusted his decisions whole heartedly. I have been very disappointed and physically pained by his lack of empathy. I fully understand that pain medications can be potentially addictive yet obviously needed before, during, and after procedures. This is not something you will receive from this particular doctor nor from his nurses. His nurses are rude, quick, and inattentive. I can not speak for the his associates behavior nor do I claim to have been seen by them, but I will say, I did not deserve the unethical treatment that I feel I have undergone during this extremely sensitive and painful time. I am seeking a New obgyn!!

Do not use this doctor!!! He lied to me about transvaginal mesh surgery in 2008. I have had many problems since having this surgery and he didn't care to inform me of any possible complications. I was only 35 at the time of my surgery and it has completely destroyed my quality of life. He put profits above his patients, just as the manufacturing companies have. I would complain about my horrible side effects after surgery and he completely dismissed them all. He seems very trusting and knowledgable but he simply didn't care enough to have me avoid this surgery. He knew I was not a good candidate for the surgery but did it anyway. Avoid this doctor!!! He is unethical!

Dr. Nieves came highly recommended by the internet HOWEVER, I think I should have checked with other patients of his. His bedside manner was nothing short of rude and uncaring. His staff was completely wonderful and courteous and very apologetic for the behavior of Dr. Nieves. I am shocked and stunned by the audacity of this very arrogant man and would never recommend him to anyone.

I loved dr Nieves hes the reason why i caried my newest baby to term i will miss his since hes moving to nebraska
