Dr. Paul Francis Oneill, MD

Dr. Paul F. Oniell treated my sister disrespectfully. The first time she saw him HE spoke down to her and was in a hurry, didn’t explain her results ( she received her results beforehand thru YRMC’s my care portal) he didn’t n or ask her what was concerning her and so she thought she would give another chance today and one again, he pompously walked in and tells her fastidiously that her iron is high but has no room for comment on her blood panel results that list leukemia with a couple other idioms and medical concerns. He didn’t come in prepared to answer any questions, he shut her down with pomposity and was fast to conclude appointment all after showing up half an hour late. He rushed through and she had abnormal. Labs that she wanted to know more, whether it was a major concern to her health and her disregarded her and her panel results. We found another doctor today and hope this goes well.

When I saw this provider he was a travailing locum. He ordered tests without a complete or accurate medical history. He was not entering my info correctly into the ehr. He did 0 physical exam. I had a dry tap bone marrow aspirate, which provides no diagnostic information. This aspirate was just peripheral blood. He used this for bone marrow analysis,‘and inaccurate results were entered into ehr including tests which I never even had. Non existent tests were interpreted and used to make a final diagnosis.Everything was below medical standards and unsafe. this person fabricated lab results and diagnosis . He does not know how to use ehr in a safe manner. I would not recomend this provider at all.

While under O'Neill's care for 1.5 years, my cancer GREW!!! He made no changes to medication or treatment within that year. O'Neill also did not fully disclose what the scan and blood reports were saying when he received them. I only found out by changing to another out of Lake Havasu City doctor! The local one refused to take me because I was under his care. BE WARNED, HE DOES NOT TELL EVERYTHING!!!!!

Lucky to get 4 minutes with Dr. O'Neil. Seems distracted most of the time. I don't feel confident with him.

Dr. ONeill and his staff have NO compassion whatsoever. He did a bone marrow biopsy on me with no numbing agent and his nurse actually had the audacity to say you have a very low pain threshold dont you. I was given a Valium prior to the procedure that had no effect whatsoever. He then said he was injecting the Novocain (which I had told him sometimes doesnt work for me so he needed to ensure it was numb). He did not even give the Novocain time to take effect (if he even put any in) before doing the biopsy. Now this biopsy involves sticking a needle in your hip bone and then drawing the marrow out with a syringe. IT WAS VERY PAINFUL! There was also no post op care given. It was only by accident that I found out that I wasnt suppose to remove the bandage or shower for 24 hours. Unless you like pain and cold hearted doctors Do not go near Dr. ONeill.

I WAS ALREADY IN STAGE 4 PANCREATIC CANCER WHEN DR, FIRT SAW ME. HE PUT ME ON CHEMO AND I WENT INTO REMISSION AFTER 6 SERIES. I HAVE BEEN IN REMISSION FOR 2 YEARS. HE CHECKS ME EVERY 3 MONTHS.

My husband went to see Dr. O'Neill when he had a platelet problem. The only tests he ran were blood tests, and a lumbar puncture. Then he released him back to our primary care physician, saying that his platelet count we just something some people had. About a year later, our doctor ordered a CT scan, rather than refer us back to O'Neill. It turned out my husband had Stage 3+ Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. We obviously requested a different oncologist, and fortunately he has just been pronounced in remission. It was touch and go because O'Neill didn't do any follow-up. Had he run further tests, he would have discovered this a lot earlier, and it would have been easier to deal with. We're lucky he's alive, no thanks to O'Neill. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone.
