I saw Dr. Perlik today. I have 40 years experience interviewing physicians and writing about medical topics -- which means, I've met more physicians than the average patient. He didn't know that and I didn't tell him. He diagnosed Dupuytren's Contracture. His bedside manner was superb. He explained my options precisely, down to percentage points. He let me decide what to do next -- which in my case meant, do nothing. The likely outcome most likely would be disappointing. I admired his honesty and candid assessment. I don't need a second opinion. I am completely confident that he gave me the right advice. I'd recommend him to anyone with the problem I have.

I severed my flexor tendon in my pinky and Dr. Perlik repaired it and gave me close to 100% mobility (which is a miracle). After he gave me his diagnosis I went for a second opinion to another excellent doctor. She said 70% mobility is typical in this type of injury. He put extra time in the O.R to insure I could play guitar again. Today I'm doing just that. Thanks Dr. Perlik. You were answer to prayer.

Dr. Perlik is the best! Very personable

I found Dr Perlik to be very unprofessional. He stated that, "I put him in an awkward position asking for his second opinion because he knows my current physician".

After reading some of the reviews for Dr. Perlik, I was afraid of what his bedside manner would be. I found him wonderful from my first visit, to my surgery and then my follow-up. Not only was my surgery a success, but he made my husband and I laugh and relax at each appointment. He is very professional and answered every question and I did not feel rushed.The front desk is so patient and kind.I would recommend him to anyone.

Worst experience I've ever had going to a doctor.

I've have unfortunately been this so called doctor's patient. I have never written a review of a doctor. I have seen many Ortho doctors; this is the most pompous, un-caring, and arrogant doctor I've had the misfortune of seeing in my humble opinion. If I can prevent one person out there from going through what this doctor put me through, I will have done the community a service.
